Kolonaki is the part of Athens that tends to win people over slowly. Always ask before settling in to work. Once you’ve had one, the iced coffees back home will feel like a betrayal.

Let’s just say they make tipping feel less like an obligation and more like a pleasure. The goat cheese is fresh and mild, not overpowering at all, which says a lot about the quality. The Greek coffee was weaker than I remembered, and instead of tap water they served bottled water, as in restaurants. Today, the karydopita (walnut pie) was served on a cracked plate and the portion was disappointingly small (see photo).

The crowd is a mix of students, faba coffee roasters tourists, and expats enjoying very good coffees. If you're looking for the place where the cool kids spend their time, you probably found it. Nice selection of cakes/pastries and a big beer fridge too with lots of local offerings. We had matcha lattes, which were a bit too powdery — not the best choice.

The shop is frequented by district workers in the morning, and it prepares its classic Greek coffee in a briki in hot sand. We also got a chocolate pastry that was tasty But after trying theirs, I feel like I could give up baking entirely and just stick to theirs forever! Coffee was decent, and we enjoyed a cookie as well. Perfect place to recharge after a morning run.

We have visited the specific coffee/brunch shop on Sunday morning with my friends ready to enjoy our morning in a cool-cozy place! When I last visited, the 2016 champion Michalis Dimitrakopoulosserved a really tasty flat white, followed by a cold brew that was a pure joy during the midday heat. At the same time, we blend taste, quality, and aesthetics to create a unique experience for you. We visited multiple times all the dishes were realy good. Feel free to visit us anytime and enjoy a delightful brunch experience.

They have five different beans to choose from and really take the time to explain the differences. The Colombian coffees from Area51 had some of the most mind blowing flavors and notes I’ve had in a very long time. Delicious avocado & mozzarella roll with tasty bread. One of the best coffees I’ve enjoyed in Athens. Also lovely terrace and yummy homemade sandwiches and sweets! We spoke with one of the owners about coffee for a good bit and everyone was so kind and knowledgeable.

Nice cosy cafe with fresh tasty dishes ideal for a light lunch. The sandwiches are made to order, with excellent ingredients and real care, and it shows in every bite. The cafe offers an excellent range of healthy breakfast, brunch, and lunch options alongside their top-notch coffee. The bar is a little small to hang out and they don't serve breakfast. Great place to people watch too. The people of this cafe are sweet, kind, professional, welcoming and most of all…kickass baristas.
